Consumer - Dashboard

Note: If the Organisation is both a Data Provider and a Data Consumer, the user can choose to view the Data Provider Dashboard by selecting "switch to dataprovider" from the drop down next to the username on the top right of the screen.

The IPND Data Consumer Dashboard displays critical information about IPND files and data. The data consumer can filter the display by file source where more than one file source is authorised for the consumer logged in.

The Dashboard is displayed in sections. Each section is a compact version of displayable dataand can be scrolled through for more data. The detailed version of each section can be accessed by clicking on the section header or from the "Report" side menu.

By default the latest four entries are displayed on the dashboard.

Download File Status

A coloured banned is displayed for defined alert conditions. Detailed description of alerts is listed in Consumer - Alert colours on dashboard

Data is displayed for all file sources that the user is entitled to view unless a file source filter has been selected.

Fields displayed:

  • File source(s)
  • File name
  • Status
    • Generated
      • Indicates the extract has been generated but is not yet available for download
    • Generated
      • Indicates the extract has been generated and is available for download
    • Downloaded
      • Status is set to downloaded when all the files in the extract have been downloaded

Data is sorted on Status Date (descending)
No further sorting is available in the compact version.

Create User Query

This section of the dashboard allows the consumer to create user query record(s) for public numbers that they have been provided data for.

  • The query must be assigned to a single Consumer File Source by selecting the "File Source" drop down box
  • A public number is entered in the area indicated
  • An error code is chosen from the"Select Error To View" drop down box
    • The codes listed cover each field in the data provider upload file. The consumer must select the relevant code
  • A comment can be entered to further qualify the issue

Click on "Create" to submit the query.

User Query Display

This section displays the most recent Active user query records created by users who are allocated Data Consumer file source(s)

Fields displayed are:

  • Consumer file source
  • Public Number
  • Error Code
  • User Query Date
  • User Query Comment - if entered
  • Acknowledge Flag (Ack)
    • Set to "Y" if the Data Provider has acknowledged the error

Data Refresh History

If refreshes have been run for the Data Consumer, the following details are displayed:

  • File source
  • Type
    • DCR - Data Consumer Refresh
    • File name
    • Number of records in the extract
    • Number of files
    • Generated date
    • Files downloaded
    • Downloaded date
    • Status
      • Generated
        • indicates that the file is available for download
      • Downloaded
        • status is set to download when all files in the extract have been downloaded

Data is sorted on Date generated (latest first)
No further sorting or filtering is available in the compact version.

Data Refresh Request Status

If no requests have been submitted, "No data found" is displayed.

If request(s) have been submitted, the following fields are displayed:

  • File source
  • Scheduled date
  • Snapshot criteria
  • Request status

Simple Data Refresh Request

This section of the dashboard allows the consumer to schedule a data refresh. The user must pick a file source from the drop down box and a date for the refresh. The date must be at least one day in the future. If the consumer is entitled to see data for multiple file sources a single file source must be selected from the drop down box.

The refresh can be restricted to Connected only records by checking the checkbox.

When the "Schedule" button has been clicked, the request is displayed in the Data Refresh Request Status section of the dashboard.
