The options provided in this screen depend on the type of administrator accessing it.
IPND Manager
The current contact information and role details are displayed for the user being modified. The IPND Manager has the ability to:
- Update name and contact information
- The organisation to which the user belongs is displayed but is not modifiable from this screen

The User Class is displayed but cannot be modified from this
screen

Change the role of
the user
- Use the drop down for the "Role"
- Select either "Organisation Admin" or "General User" as required
- Click on "Update User":
- An information bubble will confirm that the user has been updated

Manage file sources assigned to the user

Click on "Manage File Sources"at the top of the screen
- Assign file sources to the user
- Click on "Update File Sources"

An information bubble will confirm that File Sources
have been updated for the user.

File sources will have previously been assigned to the
organisation. The IPND Manager can assign additional file
sources to the organisation to make them available in this
screen
- An Organisation Admin user will have all the organisation's filesources assigned to them by default. The "Manage File Sources" button will be greyed out for this type of user

Click on "Manage File Sources"at the top of the screen

Change the type of contact
- Check or uncheck the Technical Contact and/or Business Contact check boxes
- Click on "Update User"
- An information bubble will confirm that the user has been updated
Organisation Admin
The Organisation Admin can modify details for users in their
organisation.
The current details are displayed for the selected user. the Organisation Admin has the ability to:
- Update name and contact information

The menu buttons available from this screen are:
- Invite User
- Reset Two FA
- Enable/Disable Activity
Invite User
When a new user is set up, the user will have to be invited to
use the portal in order to validate the email address provided.
Clicking on the "Invite User" button will send an email to the registered email address for the user. For details on how to set up 2FA refer to Setup Two Factor Authentication
Reset Two FA
The "Reset Two FA" button is available to the the IPND Manager and the organisation's Admin user. Clicking on this button will force the user to go through the 2FA procedure again. Refer to Setup Two Factor Authentication for more information.
If an Admin user changes the email address of an existing user, one of the above buttons must be selected to force the the new email address to be validated.
Disable Activity
The Admin user or the IPND Manager have the ability to disable
activity for any user.
Clicking on "Disable Activity" will result in a pop-up window requesting a reason for disabling the user. Enter the reason and click "Disable"
An information message will pop up confirming that "User
activity has been disabled"
Enable Activity
The Admin user or the IPND Manager have the ability to enable
activity for any user where activity has been previously
disabled.
Clicking on "Enable Activity" will result in an information message confirming that "User activity has been enabled"
