Manage Users

User List

This display lists the portal users that have been created. The display is only available to users with a role of Super Admin or Admin

Fields Listed:

  • Email address
  • Organisation name
    • NOTE: This is also a link to the organisation details
  • Name of user
    • First and last name displayed
  • User Role
    • Super Admin
      • Portal User with IPND Manager privileges.
      • NOTE: This type of user can only be created by another Super Admin user.
    • Admin
      • Organisation Admin
    • User
      • User within Organisation.
      • NOTE: Must be created by an Admin user in the same organisation.
  • Class
    • DP - Data Provider
    • DC - Data Consumer
    • MN - Super Admin/ IPND Manager
    • DP,DC - Organisation that is both Data Provider and Data Consumer
    • REG - Regulatory Organisation
    • SDC - Secondary Data Consumer
  • Active
    • Indicates whether user is active
  • Business Contact
  • Technical Contact
    • The above two fields allow the IPND Manager to target communications information to relevant contacts within an organisation.
  • Edit Icon

Sorting is available on any field.

The menu options from this screen are:

  • Create
  • Download IPND Contacts

Create new User

This is the process used by:

  • The IPND Manager/Super Admin role to create a user to be associated with an organisation.
  • An organisation's admin user (user with a role of Admin) to create general users for the organisation.

The pop-up window to create a new user is displayed when "Create" is clicked from the Users screen.

Create a new portal user with the following details:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Phone
  • Organisation
    • For an Admin user in an organisation, details of their organisation is displayed.
    • There is no ability for the Admin user to update any information about the organisation.
      • If the organisation has not been created contact the IPND Manager
    • The following steps are only available to the IPND Manager/Super Admin user
      • The organisation should have already been created and can be selected from the drop down list.
      • If the organisation has not been created, follow the procedure to create a new organisation
  • User Class
    • The User Class is determined by the organisation selected above.
    • An organisation's administrator cannot change the user class selected when the IPND Manager created the orgainsation.
  • The User's Role in the organisation.
    • Organisation Admin
      • An administrator for the organisation.
      • An organisation's Admin user can set up general users for the organisation.
    • General User
      • A General User can either be set up by the IPND Manager or by an Admin User for the organisation.

Download IPND Contacts

Clicking on the "Download IPND Contacts" button will pop up a window with different options depending on the role of the user logged in.

The IPND Manager/Super Admin will see the following options as check-boxes:

  • Authorised Technical Contacts
  • Authorised Commercial Contacts
  • Only Data Providers
  • Only Data Consumers
  • Specific Organisation
    • If this option is selected the IPND Manager must select the organisation from the drop down box

Clicking on "Download" will download a csv file with the selected details.

The Admin user for an organisation will see the following options as check-boxes:

  • Authorised Technical Contacts
  • Authorised Commercial Contacts
  • Only Data Providers
  • Only Data Consumers

The Admin user only has access to the contacts associated with their organisation.

Clicking on "Download" will download a csv file with the selected details.
